After the concrete has cured, the forms have been removed and the mud sill has been secured to the top of foundation, the framing crew will then cut the I-joists to length and attach the JPL Joist Clip to the uppermost section of webbing. When cutting I-joists to length, be sure that the floor joists have a minimum 1” bearing on each end. Follow all other Trus Joist installation requirements, including any temporary lateral bracing.
